The Beatrix Frock is a shirt dress with structure, softness, and room to move. Cut from 100% yarn dyed cotton in a keepsake gingham that blends greens, oranges, purples and browns, it carries a warm, heritage feel.

The shawl collar is gentle, the buttons are functional (they stop 25cm above the hem for movement), and a clever little reinforcement button at the bust means no surprise gaping. The short sleeves are generous, and the soft fabric belt is sewn into the centre back to wrap around your waist, giving shape without stiffness.

It’s a true year-rounder: breathable and cool on its own through spring and summer, and just as good layered up with tights, boots and a cropped cardi come the cooler months.
